who cooks normally?:
Hyun. I imagine they get takeout a lot, or eat in the cafeteria, but he is pretty good with a few dishes. Most of them involve eggs and are basically glorified omelets, but you know tasty and nutritious. Rhea could probably poison someone with toast, so you can't complain about too many eggs.
how often do they fight?:
Not often at all. If something was massively wrong, I think they'd just break up in a really logical, but sad, way. Little things wouldn't ping on their radar. They have extremely different sensibilities, but they compliment each other. And if there ever was anything trivial that really irked one of them, I think Rhea and Hyun would both just sequester themselves until they weren't pissed about it anymore.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?:
Rhea tries to make friends with Acoustic if she's still at home and Hyun is away. She talks to the cat like it can understand her and offers different varieties of treats in the hopes that she can win them over. If Rhea is away and Hyun is at home, she stays up very late watching television, hoping he might be watching the same thing. She'd call him, but on the off-chance he has managed to get some sleep, she doesn't want to wake him.
Hyun reads Rhea's books when she's away. He knows which are her favorites and he looks for dogeared pages and underlined or highlighted passages because he can't make it through one in its entirety. He doesn't really want to, he only wants to see what's important to her. When he's away and she's at home, he buys lots of dumb, cheap presents. Like... he goes to Budapest and buys her two kinds of paprika (even though she can't cook), a marionette made out of plywood, a really ugly hat. That kind of thing. He'd just see her almost anywhere and think, 'Yeah... Rhea would like that.'
nicknames for each other?:
I think Hyun is just lazy enough to go 'Rrrrrrr' when he wants to get Rhea's attention. The growling could be sexy in other contexts, but usually, yeah, he just knows she knows him well enough to respond. With Rhea, hmmm. I think she'd call him 'Hyun' in private. But in public I think she'd embarrass him as much as she could. Honey-bear and Pookie and Sugarplum. Then smile and shrug.
who is more likely to pay for dinner?:
In the early days, I think Hyun would've tried, 'cause that's what guys are supposed to do. But he would've had no problem splitting the bill. I think nowadays they trade off. If he picks the restaurant, he pays. If she picks the restaurant, she pays.
who steals the covers at night?:
The pets, definitely. Hyun stays on the couch a lot of the time, on account of his insomnia, but if Rhea came to join him, he'd probably give her the covers.
what would they get each other for gifts?:
Okay, I'm just going to go with fifth year anniversary because I do not remember when they got together and five is a nice number. Rhea would get Hyun a sensible gift like a watch and then have something silly like 'bacon' engraved into the back. Hyun would pull something weird, like getting a rental car and saying that they should drive to the Grand Canyon. They'd probably get there, take in all the majesty for ten minutes, then go to a Denny's a few miles away. Still a good trip.
who remembers things?:
Depends. Hyun remembers day to day things. He can remind Rhea when her reports are due or when she has an administrative appointment. Rhea remembers everything... that doesn't matter. She's really good at Jeopardy, though.
who cusses more?:
Neither cusses much, but I think Hyun would cuss more.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?:
Hurt in some small way? Chicken soup, tons of blankets, basic domestic things. Hurt in a major way? I think either would go rogue and beat the crap out of everyone responsible, one way or another.
who kissed who first?:
I think Hyun did.
who made the first move?:
Um.... Jae and Cristo. That was some weird left-hook matchmaking, but it worked.
who started the relationship?:
I think it was a mutually agreed upon thing. They just kinda fell into it. They both probably have about six different 'how we met' stories that they tell to people, depending on the context. Maybe they don't even remember how or when it actually came together. (Maybe it was in another life! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN)
